Rawaaj arrives in fine fettle having won at Carlisle last month but it's a worry that his best form has been on soft ground. The same can be said of Kadouchski, though he does have a recent win on the Flat at Kempton to his credit and therefore may handle the underfoot conditions better than Donald McCain's hurdler. However, FINAL FLYER ran his best race to date when runner-up to Surf And Turf in a maiden hurdle on quick ground at Wincanton last week and Alison Thorpe's gelding gets the vote to go one better on his handicap bow. Olympian and Sadler's Star could prove best of the rest.
