Verdict

ARNIECOCO is open to improvement and gets the nomination as the one to be on here; Jayne's Crusader and Hippodrome are forwarded as others to worthy of consideration. Hippodrome seems to have enjoyed switching back to the jumping game after a handful of poor efforts on the all-weather courses. He won well here last time and, as he is expected to cope with the extra distance today, and has to be respected. Jayne's Crusader finished off last season on a high note and will be a big threat if he is in the same frame of mind today. His trainer, John Mackie, has been relatively quite of late; which does temper the confidence a touch. Therefore, we switch to Arniecoco, who is steadily getting the hang of the jumping game and, given the prospect of fair odds being available, this lightly raced four-year-old is worth a shot today.
