Verdict

DESOLAIT is a sturdy looking mare that makes plenty of appeal for this type of contest; The Strawberry One is progressing nicely and has to merit a second look in the betting market, while Viking Gold has some famous names linked to her bloodlines but, like Hill Forts Gloria, already has improvement to find. The last named pair may be best watched today. Similar comments apply to the debutantes: Muzey's Princess and Time Legend, whose pedigrees are nothing out of the ordinary. Himayna was very green on her introduction and could be open to any amount of improvement. Tim Vaughan's mare could easily be a springer in the market in what is likely to be a weak market. However, most of the interest is likely to be surrounding Desolait and it will be mildly surprising if she cannot justify the support in this grade.
