Verdict

Four times a winner over fences, ARALDUR finally took advantage of a lower mark over timber when scoring at Kempton earlier this month. Alan King's charge looks likely to be a short-price to follow up against today's rivals and the best of those could turn out to be Break The Chain. He's shown steady improvement and, judged on his latest third at Market Rasen, makes more appeal than Stapleton. The latter finished a creditable fifth on his recent comeback, but it's hard to make a case for any of the remainder.
