Verdict

INGLEBY MACKENZIE (nap) was beaten in a similar contest last time but showed enough that day to encourage his backers and with improvement to come, he ought to be able to gain compensation in a relatively weak contest. Masterchippy is well handicapped and in good heart but remains a maiden, while Jimmy’s Choice has yet to make any impression and Coherent may prefer softer going. Saint Irini is of some interest on her handicap debut, and Emilyogue, who has slipped to a useful mark, can also make the frame.
