In depth

Verdict

Ballyegan Hero is penalised for his bumper victory here in October but has performed with credit in his last two starts over timber on ground that would have been too soft. Ballybran has had enough chances though may do better on this slightly quicker ground but Double Windsor should make a bold bid. He was in the lead when unseating his rider at the last on his chasing debut here in October but had never been beaten far in similar races to this over timber earlier. Willie Mullins looks to have found a nice opportunity for TORRENT DE MOTTES to make a successful debut. He has an excellent pedigree and this really shouldn't take much winning.
