Verdict

AN DROICHEAD GORM started favourite at Fairyhouse on the back of a very good run at Galway but never got going. That wasn't his form and he can make amends though Lovely Carrig also attracted strong support over hurdles at Fairyhouse after a narrow defeat there earlier but appeared to find 2m4f stretching his stamina on the testing ground. Highest Benefit scored over 2m7f at Clonmel in March though that was on good ground while seven-times point-to-point winner Mr Bolt has never won under Rules and is approaching his 15th birthday. Flynsini was well beaten at Punchestown on Sunday and Golden Sunset has yet to reach a place.
