In depth

Verdict

Elis Gury, three times a winner in Germany and over hurdles at Wexford last month, was due to run over timber here last night so the result should be monitored as he could be well treated. OCEANIA QUEEN attempted to make most at Down Royal but was caught close home by Annagh Haven, who was receiving a stone. That was over 1m2f but she's better over this trip as she showed at Fairyhouse and Ballinrobe and can return to winning ways. Henry's Girl hasn't had much experience for her age but she's performed with credit recently scoring on soft ground at Wexford last month so she's likely to prove a threat but What Lies Ahead and Get Out Of Jail would be better suited by testing conditions.
