Verdict

Bold Present was in good form over hurdles earlier this year and was still in touch though beaten when unseating his rider in the race won by Al Dafa over fences at Downpatrick last week. Souvenir Royal went on to finish third in that race and wasn't beaten far so he must be a threat in what looks a weak event. Winning bumper Duomo De Milano is the type to make a chaser and any market move should be noted while Fairwood Massini would have a chance on his second to Streamtown at Downpatrick in October. MARBLE HOUSE would have no problems winning this on the form shown when a close second to subsequent Grade 1 winner Blackstairmountain at Clonmel and though not quite up to form when runner-up to Up The Beat at Fairyhouse time may tell he was taking on more than he could bite off.
