In depth

Verdict

This could concern the two previous winners Sir Cumference and Lanmire Tower and we will side with the first named, Lost In Normandy may do best of the others. This Venetia Williams nine-year-old hasn't raced since beating Petolinski in a similar race at Towcester back in May. Fitness will not be a problem as he goes well when fresh and he looks the pick of the weights this afternoon. Lanmire Tower's victory came at Market Rasen in June, comfortably beating Lord Of The Land. The extra distance here will be ideal and he should be a threat to all. Lost In Normandy did well to chase home Fearless Mel at Bagor recently as the rider lost his iron midway through the contest, he should be in the shake up. Pangeran is a consistent sort at this level and may prove best of the remainder, but our idea of the winner is Sir Cumference.
