In depth

Verdict

Brendar gets the confident vote in this seller with Sycho Fred and Vicario rating the main dangers. The selection was a fair third behind Pacco in a better race last time out. That form sets the standard and under conditions that suit and with the drop in grade in his favour he is hard to oppose. Sycho Fred rates the main danger as he is another taking a big drop in class, but he showed little over fences last time so can not be put forward with much confidence. Vicario is another dropping in class but he has looked less than genuine on some of his latest starts and he is taken on with this in mind. Colourful Life is game and consistent and is sure to run his race but he is not getting better at the age of 12, and in a race where few can be fancied, a strong case can be made for Brendar to land the prize.
