Verdict

Tim Vaughan runs two with Mr Bond, in receipt of plenty of weight from his rivals, having been cheaply bought at the Ascot sales. Vaughan's ability to improve horses from other yards is well-established and it will be interesting to see how he fares in the market alongside Tae Kwon Do, making his chasing debut after some fair hurdling efforts. Ballabrook has shown nothing the last twice but is only down 1lb, having been raised 9lb for an easy success in a modest three-runner affair at Wincanton. He's probably best watched as is Wherrimon, on the comeback trial after injury and likely to find this too sharp. That leaves MISTER MATT, who continues to run his race despite receiving little or no respite from the handicapper and handles trip and ground.
