In depth

Verdict

Exeter winner Allysson Monterg was well out of his depth in the RSA Chase at Cheltenham but should find this easier, though lacks the experience of some of his rivals. Town Parks was still touch when falling at Ludlow and the ground is in his favour again. He could easily bounce back but War Sound has been unlucky to come up against some smart novices to date and was only beaten half-a-length on heavy going at Wincanton last time, though questions remain over this longer trip. BALLYARTHUR cruised to the front at Leicester last time but a stumble three out stopped him in his tracks and he never recovered. If he puts in a clear round here, he is the pick of the weights.
