Temple Place is best in at the weights judged by BHA ratings but Don McCain's gelding is badly out of form having been beaten a total of 128 lengths in his last two starts so he looks best left out of calculations with preference for RAWAABET, who gets the vote ahead of Arisea. The last mentioned is a consistent performer and she should be thereabouts again but is probably better on faster ground so may be best watched if the rain continues to fall. Reg Hollinshead's Sun Quest takes a drop in class and has to be considered in this company, while Brigadore is another that would probably want a faster surface. The vote then goes to Tim Vaughan's Rawaabet who has shown gradual improvement of late, including on a softish surface, and he is taken to win again.
