Verdict

Larks Lad has more experience over fences than stable companion Storm Survivor, but the latter has more scope for improvement. Mark Twain and George Nympton could also be worth following this winter but Sunday City is probably on the downgrade nowadays while Carleton Place carries a penalty for winning a weak-looking contest at Hereford and that was his first sign of form for well over a year. LUKEYS LUCK makes his debut over fences but is by no means harshly treated and he won both starts at this track over hurdles. Providing his jumping holds up, Jennie Candlish's six-year-old could take all the beating.
