Highway Code fell at the first at Ludlow on his reappearance so it is difficult to ascertain what shape he is in. Shalambar has finished a combined eighty eight lengths behind in his last two starts on the flat and a switch to jumping holds little promise. Lucky Sunny has won a bumper on softer ground and he has had a summer to improve his jumping after a slightly lacklustre debut over timber. Pret A Thou has a go over the smaller obstacles having won five times over fences. He has won on heavy ground here on the chase course and he could play a part with the conditions in his favour. Cheekpieces may bring out a bit more from Yeomanry but this race looks between the Milton Harris runners. All For Free has won an Irish bumper but that was on firm ground. He's unexposed on anything softer than good but there's no reason he shouldn't run well and improve upon his first try over the jumps at Huntingdon last month. MARLENO gets the vote to take advantage of the drop in class and grab the win. He has tended to pull hard and that is a concern, but having placed in a Listed race last time he should be the one to beat.
