Verdict

RASH MOMENT looks the one to be on here, but also on the shortlist are Marufo and Chigorin. The Evans' horse is the only course and distance winner in the field, albeit that was almost two and a half years ago. None of these are really in any great form at the moment, but he's among the more consistent. He tends to do better in the summer though. Marufo gets the trip no problem but won't want too much cut in the ground. Top weight status may be more of a problem. Chigorin won over this trip on his penultimate run but couldn't follow that up, and may have a little too much on his back for his liking. There are as many negatives as positives among these in a trappy heat, but our support would go to Rash Moment.
