In depth

Verdict

In a race that should only concern the top three, Moon Over Miami is selected to get the better of Charmatic and Star Shot. All three were successful last time out, and it was Moon Over Miami that impressed the most with the manner of his victory at Wincanton. There should be more in the tank and he just gets the call over Star Shot who won well enough at Chepstow, but gave the impression that a longer trip would not come amiss. Charmatic put one over on the odds-on Colline de Fleur at Towcester, with the third horse 11 lengths away, and in receipt of weight from the top two, is in with a shout, while of the rest, a note should be made of the debutantes Atlantic Story and Etijahaat who are sure to have been well schooled by their respective trainers. The rest are nothing special, and for the winner we return to Moon Over Miami.
