Verdict

STROKESTOWN is our selection in the finale with Quipe Me Posted and Lambrini Classic also held in regard. The full brother to Indefense was a winner of an Irish point before joining current connections but it is nevertheless worrying that Donald McCain's record this season in bumpers has been so poor. Quipe Me Posted is a half-brother to Petroupetrov. An expensive purchase at the sales, he is sure to be useful in time. Lambrini Classic was a 25/1 shot on introduction and should have learnt plenty for the experience. Brooks Bank comes from a family that includes the likes of Young Snugfit and In The Groove. Sir Ian has a likeable soft ground pedigree and is one of the newcomers to note in the market. Barton Alf's close relations were winners over further so it would be no surprise to see him needing a little more time. Strokestown is our selection in a race where the market will tell us plenty.
