Verdict

The hat-trick seeking Vic's Last Stand and last month's Stratford winner Juwireya look to have similar credentials off higher marks. But BERTIE MOON (NAP) could beat both as Lydia Pearce's stayer has won three times on the Flat since scoring on heavy going at Newcastle in the spring and returns to jumping on a potentially lenient mark. Quebec has bit to prove on his return from a break and Captain Clayton has been off the track for the best part of two years.
