In depth

Verdict

DUNE SHINE showed his appreciation for a step up in distance when scoring over 2m2f at Fontwell last time. Runner-up, The Bishops Baby, boosted the form with a subsequent victory and Oliver Sherwood's charge looks capable of defying a penalty and following up. Gentle Bob found 3m at Towcester beyond him last month, but he had gone close over 2m1f before that and this is more his trip. Saint Denis is another who should be favoured by today's drop back in distance, while Flicka's Witness ran his best race so far over 2m here last May and could figure on his reappearance.
