Verdict

Few arrive in strong form and TOMMY O'DWYER is a hopeful choice with first-time blinkers taken to sharpen his ideas up. His third at Hexham on his penultimate start reads well and Robert Hogg retains the ride, thus bringing his actual weight down to an attractive 10-6. Free Of Charge hasn't shown too much on recent starts but does have enough back class to suggest he'll go close if anywhere near his best for the Elliot/Johnson combination which has proved so effective in the last couple of seasons. Ballygrooby Bertie hasn't won since 2014 but is consistent enough at this level and is an each-way option, whilst Lowcarr Motion would be a player too if reproducing hurdling exploits over fences, which has hitherto not been the case.
