Verdict

Oriental Style has been in progressive form recently but has been steadily rising in the weights as a result and, at the forecast odds, is difficult to recommend. Conversely Reach The Clouds has slipped to an attractive mark and, with the stable of John Upson in good form now and having shown better form at Plumpton last time, he could be the answer in a tricky contest. The Nigel Twiston-Davies-trained Just Whiskey and Brendan Powell's Iron N Gold both have long absences to overcome, while Bunbury may "bounce" having his second start in quick succession after a near two year lay off. Advance East showed signs of ability behind Needwood Lion at Hereford last time and could be the main danger to the selection.
