In depth

Verdict

Fairwood Massini arrives in great form after victories at Ffos Las and Stratford, though the hat-trick may be beyond him off his new mark. Sean Airgead has been raised 8lb since a narrow win at Cartmel while Sergeant Pink is 3lb higher than when just beaten at Perth last time. Violets Boy is interesting if reproducing recent useful form at Market Rasen, however, and Tregaro was a comfortable winner of a four-runner race over 2m4f here last time, though races from out of the handicap in this higher grade. BUCK MULLIGAN is back on a winning mark and eased in class so there's every chance he'll find his way back into the winner's enclosure sooner rather than later- he gets a tentative vote.
