In depth

Verdict

JERINGA is the form pick in this handicap chase with both Incorporation and Lavenoak Lad worth noting. The selection is eight pounds higher in the weights since posting a win at Wetherby back in November. He had put two poor performances behind him that day but was coming into the race a fresh horse. He has appeared to be inconsistent in the past but coming here on the back of a win and being a fresh horse he had more ticks in his boxes than most of his rivals. Incorporation has been dropped a pound since finishing second over course and distance last time out. That was a fair run that day and although he has not won off this mark before in the past he is still capable of being in the shake up. Lavenoak Lad is not the post prolific of winners having only won once in his career to date but he did catch the eye when third at Wincanton last time out so any market moves should be noted. However for the winner we return to Jeringa.
