Verdict

Plenty of plausible cases on the formbook and KISHA KING is our best hope against Aldiruos and Filippo Lippi. John Mathias has won plenty of friends with his riding and he seems good value for his 7lb claim. Granted, Kisha King has an absence to overcome but these conditions see him at his optimum and if he is straight enough first time out, he should go well. Aldiruos was penalised 4lb for a fair run over course and distance and is still well treated on some of his earlier efforts. Filippo Lippi is rated 95. The combination of Tony McCoy and Jonjo O'Neill will never be short of supporters. Basford Lass would be of interest if proving that she truly stays marathon trips. Rare Coincidence rolled back the years to post a victory at Cartmel though his effectiveness on this surface is open to question. Dunkelly Castle does not win too often but is fairly adaptable as far as the going is concerned. Changing Lanes appears best of the rest. Kisha King gets our call.
