Verdict

Dan Skelton’s stable continues in terrific form and Zebi Boy appreciated the step up in trip over course and distance earlier this month, though is 8lb higher now. Norman The Red is lightly-raced for his age and won nicely at Fontwell last month. He should go close again off a 5lb higher mark but there is plenty of stamina in the pedigree of SENIERGUES and he looked to be coming to hand last time at Chepstow – he shouldn’t be inconvenienced by this quicker surface. Black Buble won at Bangor before a fourth at Huntingdon and shapes as though he’ll stay but there is no guarantee that Abbey Street will reproduce a first run in headgear at Towcester.
