SOUIXSANNA VIC is making her debut here under rules after previously running in Irish points, one of which she won, and she gets the vote here ahead of Rhinestone Ruby and Ragdollianna. Jim Lambe's got two runners, with the other being Sultana, but with AP on board there's no doubting that Souixsanna Vic is the stable pick. She won't mind if the forecast heavy rain has arrived, gets the trip fine, and may not find there's too much to beat here. Rhinestone Ruby and Moulin de la Croix are the only runners here to have a rating over hurdles. The former won a maiden at the 10th time of asking last time out over this trip, having been dropped down from two and a half miles when narrowly beaten here on her previous appearance. She's giving away plenty of weight though, which gives supporters of Ragdolliana cause for optimism about reversing that recent form when three lengths behind in second off level weights. Nigel Twiston-Davies' mare may need the run having not been seen since May last year; it's more than three years since we've seen Tofta Tilly who didn't impress in a bumper and a flat race at Southwell, but any support at a big price could be significant. However we think a more likely winner is McCoy's mount, Souixsanna Vic.
