In depth

Verdict

Hailstorm has dropped down to a most attractive mark and, having shown himself to be in goood heart of late, looks ready to strike. Wrens Island showed significant improvement for the increase in trip when an impressive winner last time but has paid the price with a 10lb rise while Tudor King has more on his plate having landed a weak event at Southwell last time. Chevalier Bayard shaped well on his sole start this term in June but has clearly been difficult to train and remains a maiden so looks worth opposing once again.
