Verdict

BARRIER PEAKS (NAP) impressed with the manner in which he brought the winning run of The Imposter to a halt at Exeter and David Pipe's charge is taken to follow up despite being hit with a hefty 10lb rise. Indeed, the form looks even stronger after The Imposter bounced back on Thursday to land a decent Wetherby handicap hurdle. Nefyn Point usually runs his race but a career record of 1-17 over timber reflects his vulnerability and he may again find one or two too good. Inflagrante came to grief when last seen but has suggested the ability is there and it will be disappointing if he cannot make some kind of mark in what is not the strongest of contests. Kracquer is one to check in the market - he remains quite unexposed.
