Verdict

Giveusaclue, Kealshore Lad and Young Dancer are three against the field in a wide open finale and the vote is given to Giveusaclue. The selection was a fair second behind City Breeze last time out, form that looks solid in the context of this race and, off what remains a fair mark, he looks the one to be on. Kealshore Lad rates the main danger on his latest second behind Clemax but the suspicion is he may just need the run after a 264 day break. Young Dancer was third behind Rockys Girl when last seen and is another with place claims but his best form is on a soft surface. Mendosino won well last time when beating Mickmacmagoole and he escapes a penalty for that win so he has definite place claims. Of the remainder, Ceoperk hails from a shrewd in form yard and is worth a cautionary look in the market, but for the winner we return to Giveusaclue to small stakes in a race where few can be ruled out.
