Donald McCain's OUR JASPER has the vote in the penultimate race but only just ahead of Saunders Road and Pacco in a contest where a number have chances. The selection goes to Our Jasper based on his good form but also with doubts around his main rival Saunders Road. The last mentioned was winner last time out in a good contest at Cheltenham from which the form is solid enough with a few of the others from the race going on to run with credit. The doubt is the fact he's up eight pounds for that success and it could be argued he was already at the limit of his rating. Pacco has his yards good form on his side but is six pounds heavier than his last success which looks to be his downfall. Caipriroska has been 321 days off the racecourse but on last term's form would have a chance while David Pipe¿s Prince De Bersey has been running well over fences but well short of his hurdles form and a return to that would have him close. In a wide open race then Our Jasper gets the verdict after proving his lofty rating isn't beyond him in his last two runs.
