      Verdict

      Luberon won in the style of a progressive sort last time and can follow up at the expense of Royal Power, Glenmuir and Zennerman. Mark Johnston's colt is related to no less than eight winners, and joined that club himself with an effortless victory at Musselburgh 10 days ago. The son of Fantastic Light was long odds-on at the Scottish track after a pleasing debut at Beverley, and won like a good thing. To be fair, he did not have much to beat, but the manner of his performance suggests that there is a lot more to come. Royal Power did it nicely at Thirsk last time and can give the selection most to do, but Johnston should have a line to work on as his Unique Moment finished third to the Channon runner, and we can assume that Luberon is a lot better. Glenmuir has tackled good company since making a winning debut at Kempton, and is worth a try over this extra furlong, while Zennerman was extremely unlucky a Windsor but his overall form gives him a bit to find with the selection Luberon who has plenty of potential.
