In depth

Verdict

Another competitive race in which Foxspur is taken to win at the expense of Dereks and Oniphlaure. The selection ran well on his only bumper run finishing second and ran well in defeat at Kempton on his hurdles bow when fourth to Mount Oscar. The form reads well and although this is a big field if reproducing what he has achieved so far then he has to given a real chance. Dereks ran well on his first run over hurdles when third at Ludlow. His trainer is in great form at present with a winner at Sandown on Friday so any market moves should be noted while Oniphlaure ran slightly disappointing on his hurdles run considering he was fancied to win and was sent off favourite. So for the winner we return to Foxspur.
