In depth

Verdict

Azulada Bay was all out to score at Plumpton last month. He's only been raised 4lb but those exertions may have taken their toll and a chance is taken on WESTERN KING. He was set a tough task in much better company at Ascot in February and beaten a long way in third but it's decent form in the context of this race so Charlie Mann's charge gets a tentative vote. Royal Riviera posted a better effort in heavy ground at Exeter recently and may figure over this longer rip while Allerton is not without a chance stepping up in class after his latest second at Chepstow.
