Verdict

HOME SHE GOES is taken to see off Galoshes, Dancing Storm and Troubletimestwo in a competitive finale. Charlie Pogson's mare has been in good form of late, winning at Huntingdon before a second to Willandrich at Market Rasen. This mark of 96 shouldn't be beyond her means and under a positive ride she should go close. Troubletimestwo continues to fill the placings but the worry for backers must be his inability to force his head infront and therefore he can be taken on. Champagne has a nice racing weight for this foray back into handicaps, Daring Approach has shaped nicely in novice events and is considered here off a mark of 101 on this return to the track, whilst Istron Bay is another to watch closely in the betting on his return. Thompson is edging down to a nice mark, Dancing Storm has slight stamina issues to resolve, whilst Galoshes unseated his rider midweek at Huntingdon and needs to hurdle with more accuracy this afternoon; he was a favourite just the other day it should be mentioned. An open finale, but the nod is given to Home She Goes.
