In depth

Verdict

The three against the field in this handicap are Vic The Piler, Jaunty Times and Lady Of Fortune with the vote going to the last named. The yard had a tremendous day at Cheltenham on the weekend and are surely a yard to follow over the busy Christmas period. A winner last time out on her seasonal reappearance at Folkestone she is sure to improve for the run so another bold bid is expected this time around. Henry Daly is always slow to get his horses into top gear but things are looking brighter for the Shropshire trainer as his yard are starting to produce some winners of late and Jaunty Times was one such horse that won around Towcester on his first run of the season. More is to come. The same can be said about Vic The Piler who ran gamely in defeat at Hexham last time out when beaten by Texas Holdem. Improvement looks likely but for the winner we return to Lady Of Fortune.
