In depth

Verdict

EDWARDSTONE sets a very fair standard on his debut second at Newbury, where he looked in need of the experience. He holds Keep Rolling on that run, though Philip Hobbs’ charge also looks a nice prospect. Versatility is a half-brother to middle-distance winner Storm Force Ten so shouldn’t be short of speed and will know what’s required. The Captains Inn changed hands for £220,000 after finishing second in a Lingstown maiden between the flags in March so is another interesting contender with Green Dolphin and Fitzroy others representing powerful NH yards.
