In depth

Verdict

Stan's Cool Cat should be too classy for her rivals here; the list of dangers is headed by Sparkling Suzie and Cecily. Paul Cole's filly is well-bred and she has shaped with plenty of promise on each of her two runs to date. She looked like a future winner when she finished fourth behind Honest Quality at York last time and she should be hard to beat. Sparkling Suzie hails from the Richard Hannon yard and they have a 23% strike-rate with their 2-year-olds this season so she obviously merits respect on her racecourse bow. Cecily shaped with promise on her debut at Leicester and she should come on for the experience, while Willie Haggas's newcomer Jargelle is also worth a market check. However, this looks a good opportunity for Stan's Cool Cat who is taken to score.
