Verdict

Another wide open contest rounds off the card and many can be given chances on their best form but the principals look to be Fantasy Crusader, Kalou, Be Wise Girl and Gustavo and the vote goes to Kalou. The selection has dropped to a handy mark and with this softer ground sure to suit he will be hard to beat. Be Wise Girl rates the main danger she won well last time out and escapes a penalty for that win so is a danger to all under conditions that suit. Fantasy Crusader is another worthy of respect he also won well last time out when defeating Cormorant Wharf but this looks more competitive and for that reason he is opposed. Gustavo ran as if returning to form when a staying on second last time. The step up in trip is sure to suit and from a good draw he has definite place claims. Of the remainder Got To Be Cash is from a yard in form and is worth noting in the market but in a race where stakes should be kept to a minimum for the winner we return to Kalou.
