Verdict

Farnaheezview has been consistent and with the help of Tony McCoy, can open his account at the expense of Bertiebanoo, Native Ivy and Global Challenge. Oliver Sherwood is having his best season for some time and there should be a few more winners to come from the Lambourn trainer including the selection. Irish point-to-point winner Farnaheezview is sure to be well fancied now after Fundamentalist's victory at Cheltenham on Wednesday, as he was a fair fourth to the Royal & Sun Alliance Hurdle winner at Kempton in February on what was only his third start under rules. Denied by a neck in a decent race at Newbury a fortnight ago, his time is near, and this will be the third time that the champion has partnered the six-year-old, so hopes are high that he can go one better with no problems over the trip. McCoy's arch-rival Richard Johnson partners Bertiebanoo who caused a surprise when beating the odds-on Hawk's Landing at Plumpton but who failed to defy a penalty at Taunton subsequently. He will pay to follow when put over fences, but it is anybody's guess what awaits Global Challenge who has been a bitter disappointment since leaving Sir Michael Stoute. The ability is there but he is one to be wary off, so a bigger danger may be Native Ivy who, although a beaten favourite at Folkestone last time, did make a successful bumper debut at Uttoxeter, and may run into a place at least. However, if Farnhaeezview repeats either of his last two efforts, there can only be one winner.
