Verdict

ITALIAN RIVIERA will start a warm order after last week's victory at Lingfield, his third success on Polytrack. He also has a Fibresand success to his credit and though well beaten on his only Turf start it was on soft ground and he's improved markedly since. He's impossible to oppose as Wild Desert, who was in good form at this time a year ago from much higher marks, has been beaten a distance on his last two starts. Hi Note looks the main threat despite some moderate form over hurdles recently as he's only 3lb higher than when completing a double at Bath in September. All Annalena scored over timber at Towcester in March and has been racing over trips much too short in her two subsequent runs on the Flat.
