      Verdict

Supa Seeker ran quite well in a better race than this at Newbury but is still a maiden after 23 starts. Cheers Big Ears ran well when runner-up at a similar level at Chepstow and couldn't handle the slight step-up in grade there next time. The veteran Tanforan is the only course and distance winner in the line-up and is well handicapped but hasn't run since October. For Shia And Lula ran poorly at Thirsk after being raised just 2lb for landing a minor handicap at Bath while the one-paced Attain is still a maiden after 13 attempts. MUNAAWIB, a winner at Southwell last month, has gone well in two subsequent starts from today's mark and with one of the more experienced riders aboard is taken to return to winning ways.
