Verdict

Malton Rose was impressive at Uttoxeter last July on his hurdling debut but this is a hot-looking handicap. Black Sam Bella bids for a quick hat-trick but may struggle to defy her penalty upped in grade. WAIT FOR ME is still 5lb higher than for his last win over hurdles but he ran well at Haydock 11 days ago in slightly better company and holds Activial on that effort. He’s best on good going and can get his head back in front ahead of Rocky's Treasure, who hinted at a revival at Cheltenham last month. Western Climate and Call To Order certainly aren’t ruled out in a competitive affair.
