Verdict

Good News has done all of his winning at Fontwell and Plumpton and, aged 10, arrives on a career-high mark. Stepped up in trip here at the start of the month, NICKELSONTHEDIME (NAP) stayed on strongly to get off the mark under Rules and Josh Newman is doing the steering again. Pour Une Raison is 5lb lower than last year’s course and distance victory but has shown little since. Beaufort West has only gone up 2lb for winning at Uttoxeter but Forward Plan has been raised the same amount for finishing second at Fontwell and Voyburg isn’t certain to stay this far
