Verdict

The market will provide all the clues here but we are happy to put forward Lake Hero as the tentative selection with Dune Melody and Indus Tenor rated as the main dangers. The booking of Daryl Holland catches the eye on our selection who is a well-bred filly and as she hails from a yard with a fair strike-rate in these type of events she looks the percentage call. Dune Melody is another well-bred filly and she is entitled to plenty of respect from the plum draw, but she will probably be better over further in time and she may be best watched on her debut. Indus Tenor is another that is entitled to go well here on breeding and she also hails from a yard with a fair strike-rate in these type of events. Braggart Park and Mini Blue are others to consider and they are worth noting in the market, but for the winner we will stick with the well-drawn Lake Hero.
