April Ciel was always travelling smoothly when making all over 1m4f at Bath and looks certain to make a bold bid despite a 7lb rise. Queen's Estate couldn't quite hold off My Guardian Angel at Doncaster but can run from the same mark while Curly Come Home won impressively at Yarmouth, though this is a step up in grade. TEMUCO scored on soft ground at Salisbury but couldn't quite cope with a penalty there a few days later. She can race off a 2lb lower mark this time and can return to winning ways. Romantic still looked green at Haydock and, with improvement likely, can make his presence felt.
