    Verdict

This could concern Nenuphar Collonges and Gypsy Cricketer, with the first named just getting the verdict, Alam may do best of the others. Alan King's gelding landed a decent enough contest in France during the summer and gets in here on a very fair mark. Most of today's opposition are out of form and he will not have to be anything too special to land this prize. Gipsy Cricketer is one that is running well, as he easily beat Young Tot at Ludlow last time out. The ground will be a lot slower this afternoon but he should still be thereabouts. Alam would murder these on his best form but has not shown anything over the last twelve months. If the money comes for this one take note. Plenty of guesswork involved in this contest and so bets should be kept small, but Nenuphar Collonges is our choice.
