In depth

Verdict

Laureldean Melody can improve from her run at Aintree last month and land this at the expense of Isaac Newton and Golden Snoopy. The selection was third in an eighteen runner field on her latest start and we feel has less opposition here in both the way of runners and competitiveness. She is still only lightly raced and with that in mind she should be still open to further improvement. Isaac Newton runs off the same mark after winning a selling hurdle over course and distance recently. She can enter the frame once again but this race does look stiffer. Golden Snoopy is now eleven years old but is still only lightly raced. He is still a maiden but has been running well in defeat recently so is given respect, but for the winner we return to Laureldean Melody.
