Fisher Green was engaged in the 8.15 at Newcastle last night. After a surprise victory at Nottingham, Scottish Summit very nearly defied an 8lb rise at Redcar and can race from the same mark. Doctor Cross has yet to win but didn't enjoy stepping up to 1m4f at York last time. Shamrokh completed a double at Chelmsford earlier this year but hasn't done as well since reverting to Turf. MISS SHERIDAN won three out of four at this time a year ago and has gradually dropped to a winnable mark as she showed with a much better run at Wolverhampton. Fanfair completed a double in mid-summer last year but hasn't run since October.
